The Baltimore Orioles are looking more impressive by proving they can win a series in New York. The Orioles took two of three games against the New York Yankees in this series. The Orioles held the Yankees to just 3 runs in three games. The Orioles pitching has greatly improved since last year to say the least.

Jake Arrieta got the win tonight and did not give up any runs in the outing. The series shows that the Orioles can compete with the big boys this season as they continue to amaze the baseball world.

Orioles Have Lost 4 Straight

The last four games have been the worst stretch for the Baltimore Orioles since the eight game losing streak earlier in the season. It started with a blown six run lead against the Boston Red Sox. The New York Yankees then came to town and swept a 2 game series. The second game of the series wasn't even competitive as they pounded the Orioles 13-2. Yesterday, may have been the most embarassing loss of the season for the Orioles when they got pounded 17-5 by the Washington Nationals.

The Orioles will face the Washington Nationals again today and will try to end this losing streak. Jeremy Guthrie will be the starting pitcher and the Orioles will need a good outing to say the least!

Yankees Beat Orioles Again!

The Yankees beat the Orioles again today. Yesterday, the New York Yankees they pounded the Baltimore Orioles 15 to 3. Today the Yankees beat the Orioles again by the score of 6 to 3.

The Orioles got off to a great start in their first seven games but now reality is setting in a the Orioles remain under .500 for the season in the win column.
