The Baltimore Orioles are the American League East champions for the first time since 1997!. The Orioles clinched the AL East tonight by pounding the Toronto Blue Jays 8 to 2. The Orioles have been amazing all year long and now we can celebrate the first AL East title in 17 years!

The Baltimore Orioles are still sitting on top of the American League East in spite of 2 game losing streak. They are currently 8.5 games ahead of the New York Yankees.
