Seeing Jeremiah Jackson come through with a clutch two-RBI single to reclaim the lead was pure adrenaline, and then Coby Mayo absolutely crushed a three-run homer to deep left-center to blow the game open. This lineup showed some serious grit today, proving they can bounce back even when things get tight in the middle innings.

From an analytical standpoint, this game was won on high-leverage execution and managing the bullpen through some late-inning stress. Chris Bassitt ground out 5.1 innings to earn the win, but the story was the offense's ability to capitalize on Kansas City’s relief mistakes during that sixth-inning surge. While the Royals tried to claw back with homers from Jensen and Isbel, our arms held firm when it mattered most, including a solid save from Anthony Nunez to shut the door.
