Orioles vs Giants Game Recap (4/12/26) | MLB Highlights | Baltimore Orioles
What a Camden Yards game! Today, the Baltimore Orioles defeated the San Francisco Giants 6-2, securing the series win and going above.500 for the first time since Opening Day! The Birdland faithful had lots to celebrate. In the first inning, Samuel Basallo hit a tremendous two-run home run, and Pete Alonso continued his clutch hitting by breaking the game up with a stunning two-run double. On his 26th birthday, southpaw Cade Povich was outstanding on the mound, retiring the first 12 batters he faced and recording five strikeouts in 6.2 innings of one-run ball.
The Orioles have won five of their last six games, and with young players like Colton Cowser and Coby Mayo contributing RBIs, they appear to be serious competitors in the AL East. As Baltimore gets ready to host Arizona next, don't miss the most recent Orioles news and MLB highlights—the excitement is definitely back in Charm City! The Orioles are currently in a 3 way tie with the Tampa Bay Rays and the New York Yankees for 1st in the AL East!
