Baltimore Orioles are American League East Champions!

The Baltimore Orioles are the American League East champions for the first time since 1997!. The Orioles clinched the AL East tonight by pounding the Toronto Blue Jays 8 to 2. The Orioles have been amazing all year long and now we can celebrate the first AL East title in 17 years!

Orioles Sweep Toronto Blue Jays

The Baltimore Orioles have now won 4 games in a row with the win tonight! The Orioles swept the Toronto Blue Jays for the first time since 2010! The Orioles remain tied with Rays for first place! The difference is that the Baltimore Orioles seem to be able to win the close ballgames this year. The Orioles are currently leading the major league in home runs after the 7th inning! The winning pitcher tonight was Darren O'Day (2-0, 0.90) Go Orioles!!! Final Score: Orioles 5 Blue Jays 2

Orioles Snap 3 Game Losing Streak

It has been another very tough year for Baltimore Orioles fans to say the least, but the Orioles did snap their 3 game losing streak tonight. The Orioles managed to get four runs in the sixth inning to get the victory against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Orioles Bounce Back Against Blue Jays

After giving up a grand slam in game one of the series, the Orioles bounced back in game two of the series and got a grand slam of their own. Mark Reynolds' bat finally came to life as he hit a homer with bases loaded to give the Orioles a 5 to 3 lead. It was Mark Reynolds' first career grand slam. Jake Arrieta got the win and Kevin Gregg closed the door and got the save.

On another note, it was good to have Derrek Lee back at first base.

Orioles Lose 4th Straight Game

The Baltimore Orioles lost their 4th straight game yesterday as they fell to the Toronto Blue Jays by a score of 2 to 5. The Baltimore Orioles still have the worst record in major league baseball.
