Nelson Cruz is the Man! Nelson Cruz has one of the best bats in baseball and because of his 2 run shot in the 6th inning, the Orioles were able to Cruz past the Detroit Tigers with ease in this series. The poor Tigers looked more like kitty cats up against the mighty Orioles bats.

It has been such a long time coming. The Orioles have not been to the World Series since 1983. The Orioles are now just one series away from going back. The excitement felt by true Orioles fans right now is overwhelming! It is like the Ravens of the 2012 NFL season. No weapons formed against this team shall prosper! We lost Manny Machado and Chris Davis and they still can't stop us!

The Orioles will now have to just sit back and wait to see who they will play in the American League Championship Series (ALCS).

Jason Hammel was the starting pitcher for the Orioles and he got his first win of the season today. Matt Wieters, Adam Jones, and Chris Davis all had a good day at the plate.The Orioles will have their home opener on April 5th.
