We managed to chase Eduardo Rodriguez after five innings, but Arizona’s bullpen was lights-out when it counted, allowing the D-backs to claw back every time we grabbed the momentum. The deciding factor today was definitely missed opportunities; despite the back-and-forth scoring, leaving runners in scoring position during the late frames proved fatal. We’re still sitting in a solid spot in the standings, but tightening up the relief execution will be key as we move into the next series. We’ll shake this one off—on to the next!
