The Orioles Celebrated 60th Season with 12 to 2 Victory Over Cardinals

The Baltimore Orioles celebrated their 60th season last night by beating the Cardinals 12 to 2. The Orioles vs Cardinals game turned out to be a good one. The Orioles hit a whopping 6 homers in the game which is tied for the most hit by a team in one game this season.

The Orioles took a trip down memory lane with fans after the game to celebrate the 60th season of the franchise. Many Orioles greats were on hand such as Boog Powell, Frank Robinson, Jim Palmer, Brooks Robinson, Al Bumbry, Tippy Martinez, Ken Singleton, Eddie Murray, Cal Ripken, Brady Anderson and many others. Fans were also treated to a spectacular fireworks show after the game

Eddie Murray Night on August 11th

It will be Eddie Murray night at Oriole Park at Camden Yards on August 11, 2012. The game is part of the Orioles Legends Celebration Series. A larger-than-life bronze sculpture of Eddie Murray will be unveiled. All fans in attendance will receive an exact miniature Eddie Murray replica sculpture.
